Thank you Kim! I'm struggling with climate anxiety so this stuff was really helpful. Do you know where I might be able to find climate aware psychologists/therapists in Sweden (Uppsala/Stockholm area)? I haven't used Internet search yet but thought I might ask you first...
Hi Sachiko, I'm sorry to hear that you're struggling-- so glad you found this newsletter helpful! In Sweden I recommend Frida Hylander's book Klimatpsychologi which has some great resources. See also her website https://www.klimatpsykologerna.se/ There are lots of online resources/support groups, like the Good Grief Network and the Climate Psychology Alliance. Take care!
No mention of food choices here...?
Hi Paul, thanks for reading! I've covered food choices in earlier posts. For high-emitting individuals, a plant based diet is the highest-impact action within the food domain (https://wecanfixit.substack.com/p/climate-fact-check-binge-watch-all), but saves far less emissions than reducing driving or flying (https://wecanfixit.substack.com/p/pre-fire-dread-phase-out-fossils).
